Oh yeah.  I have a blog.  Those of you with kids will know how a blog can have gaps that blogs without kids might not have.  Even as I write this I hear: "Papa!  Your train is in the way!"  "Papa 電車だよう!” People with kids who mix English with Japanese will especially understand this.

Anyway, so much has happened since the Sumo match.  Kai has just turned 4 and now living in Brooklyn NY!  A huge change for the family!

Where do I start??  My problem with blogging is that every time I sit down to write, I want to write a novel...  After the birth of my son in Hiroo Tokyo, he began to grow...

I'll try to hit a few highlights of our last few months in Tokyo as there was some good stuff there.  Before I do that, however, I need to document a small funny thing that happened a long time ago.  I was reminded of this as there was a picture in our photo album of a wedding in Hokkaido. (Some how I remind myself of Homer Simpson's father and his long non-sequtor ramblings. )

Where was I?  Oh, the Hokkaido wedding.  So, Kaori went to Hokkaido to Yoshiro's wedding.  There, she goes to his parents house and sees that his parents have two ponies. An interesting thing to see for parents that have a son who is getting married and only has one older brother.  No younger sister who may demand a pony.  It turns out that his parents friend was selling them.

This is the funny part.  The conversation about the ponies.

Kaori: "Wow.  It must be expensive to buy a pony!"
Yoshiro: "Actually, the pony was cheaper than a Playstation 3...  And it was buy one get one free!"

I don't know about you, but I find that hilarious.  If you don't?... Well, read someone else's blog!

So, back to Tokyo to the move.    Better yet,  maybe I'll keep by Blog short for once and just publish this.

Stay tuned for the Pre-Brooklyn move drama extravaganza!!! Coming to blog readers soon!
